Introduction

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is a non-profit, non-partisan association representing the Commissioners, Secretaries, and Directors of the 54 state and territorial Departments of Agriculture. NASDA's mission is to support and promote American agriculture through a variety of programs, including sponsorship of the American Food Fair (AFF) 2010.
NASDA's American Food Fair joins the National Restaurant Association (NRA) to represent, educate and promote the 935,000 restaurants who sell $511 billion in the U.S. restaurant and hospitality marketplace. The exposition works to provide a wealth of education, research, industry relations, government affairs services and the ultimate restaurant, catering and lodging exposition in North and South America.
NRA's Restaurant Hotel-Motel Show successfully combines an impressive collection of unique food and beverage products, cutting edge technology and equipment with the latest in restaurant and lodging trends. NASDA launched the American Food Fair in conjunction with the Restaurant Hotel-Motel Show to give U.S. Food and Beverage Exporters an excellent opportunity to join the 1,800 exhibiting companies and over 50,000 registrants of NRA's event.
This event offers four days of networking opportunities and business-to-business contacts all under one roof. Whether you are interested in direct sales or forming relationships with suppliers and distributors, the foodservice professionals that exhibit at this event can help your company reach new markets efficiently.
The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), works to promote the export of U.S. agricultural products and reports on agricultural production and market development in all areas of the world. Both NASDA and FAS work closely with the National Restaurant Association (NRA) to jointly promote the American Food Fair 2010, which is held in conjunction with NRA’s Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show. NRA is the definitive membership-based business association for the restaurant industry. With more than 30,000 members representing nearly 200,000 restaurants, the National Restaurant Association membership includes tableservice restaurants, quickservice outlets and cafeterias, as well as professionals and academic institutions associated with the industry.
Through sponsorship of American Food Fair 2010, NASDA puts you face-to-face with thousands of operators and distributors from 50 states and 100 countries who are eager to learn about new effective products and services and make purchasing decisions. American Food Fair exhibiting companies get great exposure to both domestic and international buyers with a listing by product category in the online Buyers Guide (www.restaurant.org) and the Exhibit Guide & Program.
Advertisements in leading foreign trade publications for the hospitality, catering, and food service markets promote the event to international buyers. To help both buyers and sellers better communicate and meet their objectives, a full service International Business Center is staffed with officials and interpreters.
